March 18, 2009 - Update

Today I am home with my sick little Macey. She has been fighting off a cold for the past week and a half and it got a little worse last night when she got her first fever. There's not much worse than a sick little one, but hopefully with some extra special care the next few days from Mom and Dad, she'll be back to 100% by the weekend. She has been such a trooper through this cold and still has lots of smiles for us. So if this is how she handles illnesses, we should be home free! Other than that Macey is doing wonderfully. She is cooing, smiling and laughing and is really close to rolling over. She had her 4 month checkup last week, weighing in at 11lbs 15oz and measuring 24.25 in. The doctor said she's a little on the small side but she is growing so there are no concerns. I guess we just don't have good eaters. Presley was 2lbs heavier at this age and the same length. Presley continues to entertain us. She can now spell her name and is always telling me what things start with. Most nights she begs to do her "homework" which consists of educational computer games. It's amazing how quickly she's picking things up. We are truly blessed with our wonderful girls.

March 11, 2009 - Macey's School Friends

Macey started "school" this month. She is the youngest one for now, but I'm sure that won't last long. So far she has done very well adjusting to being away from home. I get to go visit every day around lunch time and I've even been able to stop in to read big sissy Presley a story before naptime. I am so thankful to have them so close by.

February 28, 2009 - Macey's first time swimming!

After Presley's swimming lessons we decided to all get in and see how Macey liked the water. She loved it and her lips didn't even turn purple like sissy's always do!
