I went back to work this week, so Beau stayed home with Macey. This is from a walk they took on the only nice day of the week. He really enjoyed his time with just her and she decided to roll over (front to back) while I was gone. :(

February 14, 2009 - Presley's Monkey Dooz Party
Presley turned 3 this month and we started the celebration at Monkey Dooz with Cousin Jaicee. What a fun time! The girls got to pick out a party dress and get their hair, makeup, and nails done. Presley was in princess heaven and especially loved the clip on earrings! Afterwards, we took her to Red Robin all dressed up so that they could sing to her. It was a great start to the birthday marathon.

February 3, 2009 - Update
I think this might be the first time I've posted more writing than pictures, but I wanted to give a little update on the girls because we hit some big milestones recently.....
Presley will be 3 in 2 weeks so we figured it was time to get rid of the nasty blanket or should I say the 4 nasty blankets. For those of you who don't know, Presley sucks on the satin corners of her blankets. As you can imagine, over time they have become quite disgusting even though we wash them every night (hence the 4 identical blankets). So, about a week ago Beau and I cut all the corners off her blankets. She handled it surprisingly well although I know she misses her corners dearly. Nighttime has been a little difficult but each night seems to get easier for her. We are so proud at how she's handled losing her corners. I did feel bad though when I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she said a new blanket with corners! No one ever said parenting was easy!
Now on to our sweet little Macey. She had her 2 month checkup a couple weeks back and to our surprise she only weighed 9lbs 14oz which is over a pound less than her sister at that age. And to think this whole time we thought she was such a better eater! :) Macey also started sleeping for 8 hour stretches at night! Yippie! Silly us though for cutting Presley's corners at the same time because we were still waking up! Actually, last night both girls slept through the night and hopefully by the time I go back to work, everyone will be sleeping well!
