We have been crazy busy since moving into our new home, but we are loving every minute, except for all the backbreaking yard work of course. I am so proud of Beau for all the hard work and long days/late nights he’s put in. We are only two weekends away from being able to enjoy it. We hope to have the underground sprinklers in the backyard complete this weekend and then the sod the following weekend if all goes as planned. I’ve never been so excited for grass in my life! Hopefully by Memorial weekend, we’ll be lounging by the pool surrounded by luscious green grass!
The girls are both doing great! Presley is growing up way to quickly, and has developed her first crush on ‘Jonathan’ from school. For the past month all we hear about is how she is going to marry Jonathan; poor Beau, up until this point she’s always wanted to marry him. When I asked her why she liked him so much she said “because he’s nice, handsome, a good dancer, and he asked me to marry him.” I guess that’s all it takes for a 4 year old. We have so enjoyed hearing about marriage from her perspective, especially when she assured me “it’s okay Mom, I won’t get married until I’m 15!” Wow, I think we’re in trouble! Macey is almost 1.5 years old! Where has the time gone? She is such an easy going child and a true joy to be around. She loves being outside and is always bringing me my shoes so that I’ll take her outside to play. And when we have to come in she throws little fits. I’ve never met someone who liked being outside as much as her. We’ve also started limiting her binky to naptime and nighttime, surprisingly with almost no issues. Now maybe we’ll be able to understand her better since she won’t be talking through her binky. Below are some recent photos of the girls…..

April 23, 2010 - Cousin Stryker is born!
April 21, 2010 - Last day of swimming lessonsWe were so pleased with how well both girls did in swimming this time around. Macey is a natural and loves the water. Presley also loves the water now and has no problems going under. Both girls moved up to the next level and we feel more comfortable about having a swimming pool in our backyard.
